What is CBD?

CBD, short for cannabidiol, is a chemical compound derived from the Hemp plant. It’s a naturally occurring substance, now used in many products worldwide and unlike its close friend tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), is not psychoactive.

To put it the only way we know how, no. Fleurtiva comes from hemp plants, not marijuana and although hemp and marijuana are close relatives, they’re not the same.

Our products contain no more than 0.3% THC, which is the psychoactive compound found in marijuana. Luckily for us, the hemp plant naturally has higher levels of CBD, a compound which has been widely acclaimed for its many positive benefits.

Although there is less than .3% THC in our Fleurtiva Hemp CBD Drops, this could still show up on certain drug tests. When in doubt check with your health care practitioner.

It goes against everything we stand for, but in this particular case, we can’t be transparent!

Due to strict guidelines of the US Food and Drug Administration, we’re prohibited from making any claims about our product’s ability to treat health conditions. Research and early reviews tell us that our product enhances overall well being by providing soothing relief to muscle aches and pains. This is mainly down to the fact that Fleurtiva is a full-spectrum cannabinoid extract with CBD and other compounds such as CBG and CBC. We like to use this as research shows that using the whole plant maximizes the ability to deliver the benefits to body and mind, of course fitting in with our ethos of giving as much as we can to our customer.

We encourage people to independently research the benefits of full spectrum CBD –  or simply take a leap of faith! After all, we’ve been around long enough to know what we’re talking about!
